NATIONAL EMERGENCY HELPLINE: 0800 222 777

The National Freedom Network is a collective of individuals, organisations and coalitions who are working together directly or indirectly against human trafficking. Developing strategic, sustainable and effective partnerships is integral to our work, and the foundation of who we are.

We are continually looking for new relations through which counter-trafficking efforts in SA can be strengthened. At this stage membership with the NFN is still free. Below is the application process to become an official member.

Organisations:

  • Step 1: Submit a letter of application to join the NFN, along with a portfolio of your counter-trafficking work and letters of reference from three existing Network Members (either organisations or individuals).
  • Step 2: Your application will be considered and your references checked.
  • Step 3: We will get back to you in writing within 30 days of your application.
  • Step 4: You will have the option to display your logo and a link to your website, on the Members page of this website. Alternatively you may also join as a ‘Silent’ Member should you wish to, in which case our working relationship will not be publicly acknowledged.

Individuals:

  • Step 1: Submit a copy of your CV along with a cover letter stating how you already do, or how you want to, work against human trafficking, and how you see membership with the NFN as valuable in assisting your work / vision. We also require three reference letters (two professional and one personal). At least one needs to be from an existing Network Member (an organisation or an individual).
  • Step 2: Your application will be considered and your references checked.
  • Step 3: We will get back to you in writing within 30 days of your application.
