The Corporate Relations Division of UKZN invites you to attend an awareness seminar on Trafficking In Persons (TIP) in commemoration of Human Rights Month. Please note that RSVP is essential should you wish to attend.

One of the confirmed speakers is Adv. Dawn Coleman-Malinga of the National Prosecuting Authority and KZN HPPB Task Team.

Some of the lecture outcomes include:

1. The dynamics of human trafficking in the 21 Century and how to use anti-trafficking laws to ameliorate or eradicate trafficking in persons in SA and beyond

2. The need for effective prosecution on TIP activities and for adopting a holistic approach to addressing human trafficking

3. Participating in an interactive training on how to identify trafficking victims and be able to use the tools given

4. Teaching others about TIP trends and preventive measures in communities.
